SMV:Digital is Denmark's national digitalisation grant, delivered with the regional business hubs and co-funded by the EU. For approved projects it pays 50% of the cost of an external consultant, up to 150.000 DKK. Nicolas Lejeune, the consultant who leads every Cimalys engagement, is a registered rådgiver in the programme's official database.

Set per round. The September 2026 round caps at 50.000 DKK; the November round pays up to 150.000 DKK for larger projects.
Your side
The other half, in cash
Co-financing is 1:1. On a 100.000 DKK consulting project the programme pays 50.000 DKK and you pay 50.000 DKK.

Approved in the Rådgiverdatabasen
The programme only funds consultants from its official register, attached to your application before work starts. Nicolas Lejeune, the consultant who leads every Cimalys engagement, is registered, listed at 2.000 DKK per hour. Look us up in the register search: Cimalys ApS, Nicolas Lejeune.

Consulting, not implementation
Analysis, preparation, planning and follow-up. Build hours sit outside the grant, and we quote them separately from the first offer so the split is never a surprise.

Cybersecurity and digitalisation
Cybersecurity projects have priority, but other digitalisation projects, AI included, can apply. Draft applications open in the system from 14 September.

Digitalisation
For companies already under way that want a larger project: system integration, new digital solutions. Cybersecurity, digital marketing and simple ERP projects are capped at 50.000 DKK in this round.
The grants go to applications that are ready when the window opens. That is the part we handle together, before opening day.

We scope it together
A 30 minute call. We define the project, check every criterion above, and draft the application. The system opens for drafts two weeks before each round.
Opening day
You submit
Through the official application system with MitID Erhverv. It takes minutes when the draft is ready, and being ready matters: each round funds roughly 150 companies nationwide.
On approval
Sign, attach, start
You sign the tilsagn, attach Nicolas as your rådgiver in the application system, and the work begins.
At closeout
The grant pays out
We prepare the closeout documentation with you. Once the programme approves it, it reimburses its half of the consulting cost.
Two things we will always be straight about. Approval is the programme's decision, not ours: we flag SMV:Digital when the fit is real and never price a project around a grant that has not landed. And the grant covers consulting: if what you need is mostly build work, we will tell you that too.
